Questions Clients Ask Before Starting
Before starting the implementation of a security system for an industrial park, the same questions always arise. It's not about hesitation, but about the need for clarity. We have gathered the most frequent questions received from clients in the pre-contracting phase, to provide a direct and unambiguous answer.
The first question is almost always related to the installation duration. People want to know how long the activity on the premises will be affected. The answer depends on the complexity of the system, but for a standard 2 km perimeter, with cameras and sensors, installation takes between 5 and 8 working days. The work is usually scheduled outside peak hours to minimize disruptions.
The second frequent question is about integration with existing equipment. Many facilities already have older alarm or access control systems. Clients want to know if the new system will work together with what they already have. The answer is yes, but only after a technical audit. For example, some older control panels do not communicate on the same protocol, and then their gradual replacement is recommended. We provide a compatibility report before any contract.
Another recurring question is about maintenance costs. It is not enough to know the initial price; clients want to understand what annual maintenance involves. The answer is simple: for IP video systems, maintenance includes firmware updates, cable checks, and lens cleaning. The average annual cost is approximately 8-12% of the equipment value, depending on the number of cameras and environmental conditions.
Last but not least, clients ask about warranty and technical support. The standard warranty is 2 years for equipment, and telephone support is available during working hours. For emergencies, there is an on-site intervention service, which arrives within a maximum of 4 hours in the metropolitan area.
These questions are not signs of distrust, but proof of a professional approach. That is why we encourage every client to ask them before signing. The more open the discussion, the smoother the implementation.
If you have other questions regarding perimeter security or system integration, you can request a direct technical discussion. No questions are too small or too complicated.
